Top Tweets of 2017
We all do it, resistance is futile. No, I am not talking about Star Trek here, I am referring to something else that spans the frontier and actually goes where ALL men (and women) seem to go… social media. And there is no getting around it. The endless variety of social media platforms is much more than a source of entertainment, it is has become a primary source in connecting to the world around us. Twitter alone handles more than it’s fair share of colorful, albeit sometimes confounding, comments throughout the year.

Forbes recently published some stats obtained from analytics firm Talkwalker listing the top 10 tweets that received the most activity in 2017. Some made us laugh, some made us cry, some made us angry. No matter which emotion was evoked though, we reacted. Whether we ‘liked’, ‘retweeted’ or commented, here are 5 of the top 10 mentioned.
