Marvel: Samuel L. Jackson May Have Just Spoiled Nick Fury’s Future

Samuel L. Jackson will appear as Nick Fury in the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion, which will be his 13th appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and if you don’t agree with Kevin Feige’s canonicity on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., he’s also voiced the character in three video games

It’s been a long road for Samuel L. Jackson since the post-credits sequence of Iron Man, but he’ll finally have top billing in a Marvel Studios production with Secret Invasion. It’s been a long time coming, but Jackson has been surprisingly forthcoming about what comes next for the cyclop-founder of the Avengers Initiative.

We’ve known for a long time that Captain Marvel 2 would see Jackson reprise his role, but during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, he may have let it slip that we’ll see him in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as well.

“When I was in London just now. It was [Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania], and [The Marvels] was happening, and we were getting ready to do [Secret Invasion]. So it was like, three Marvel movies on one lot. I was kind of running around from place to place.”

In the first two installments, Fury didn’t appear, but given that Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror is the main antagonist in Quantumania, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he showed up for a moment or two.
