What’s better than a marathon gaming session? A marathon gaming session that gives back, of course! Loot Crate, the makers of our favorite nerdy subscription boxes, and the LIFEAID beverage company, makers of healthy and convenient nutritional products, have joined forces to host a day-long fundraising stream to benefit Gamers Outreach. The steam goes live TODAY, July 28th, from 12-8pm PST. Gamers can tune in to catch exclusive interviews, win awesome prizes, and help raise money for this amazing cause.

Gamers Outreach is a charity that provides technology and software to kids undergoing treatment in hospitals.  Proceeds raised during this event will go to pay for “GO Karts,” which are portable medical-grade technology kiosks that can be brought right into a child’s hospital room. This helps alleviate the trauma and loneliness that can come from treatment, and lets kids just be kids for a while.

As a bonus, today’s stream hosts include Loot Crate’s own Mikey Petralia and Josh Ball, actress Naomi Kyle, Hyper RPG (twitch.tv/hyperrpg) studio head Zac Eubank, ABC’s Once Upon a Time actor Jared Gilmore, and tons more surprise guests.

Gamers can check out the stream live TODAY at https://twitch.tv/lootcrate.
