‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Will See Major Cast Changes in Season 14

Season 14 of Grey’s Anatomy is slated to bring some cast changes, and a few of them will be pretty impactful to the rest of the doctors and interns at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. However, long time fans of the series shouldn’t worry – at least not right now – because the changes aren’t affecting the core characters at this point.

At least, that’s what we’re being led to believe, it is Shonda Rhimes though so anything is possible.

So far, a few changes that we anticipated are happening in the form of cast members leaving. Like Stepanie Edwards, played by Jerrika Hinton, said she was ready to leave the hospital after the big explosion, so we anticipated her departure. Another character likely to make her exit is Dr. Leah Murphy, played by Jerrika Hinton, who left in season 10 but came back last season.

Most fans of the series will be excited to know that the next person we mention won’t be making a return, Eliza Minnick, played by Marika Domińczyk is not returning to the series. After her entrance to the series rocked the core of the doctors we’ve grown to love, we have to admit, we’re happy to see her go.

The series will also see the addition of a new doctor set to bring a new wave of drama, and she will be related to Andrew DeLuca. Seeing as a lot of the drama at Grey Sloan involved him recently, we’re curious as to what she will bring to the show.

Season 14 will start off with a two hour premiere on September 28th. What do you hope to see in the new season? Let us know.
