Gaming: ‘Gears of War 4’ will be running a Free Trial

Good morning, fellow gamers! Here we are with some pretty cool and exciting gaming news. So, did ya miss out on some deals and discounts when Gears of War 4 made its debut back in late 2016? Well, here’s some pretty cool news for you.  The third-person shooter game which is available for PC and Xbox One will be giving gamers an opportunity to play the game for free over the weekend for up to 10 hours, including the game’s campaign and multiplayer modes.

The Coalition announced the news over on the official Gears of War website, and their  post explains that you’ll be able to experience up to 10 free hours of gameplay between June 9th and June 15th.

In addition to the campaign story mode, the trial will allow you to play the Versus and Horde modes. The story mode follows Del, Kait and J.D., as the three infiltrate a COG facility and attempt to get their hands on a special device known as a Fabricator.

Gears of War 4 was released around the same time as Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2, which in turn may have affected some of its sales. Hopefully following this trial, the game will once again regain the popularity that it deserves. The graphics are amazing, and the gameplay itself is also pretty exciting, especially in the horde mode.

The timing is also perfect, as this is the weekend of E3, so the gaming hype is very real. Hopefully, Gears of War will be getting some attention this weekend.
