Game of Thrones is over; spring can’t come soon enough with another season so how do we pull ourselves out of this show-hole?
With Harry Potter of course!
In November the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released. It’s a screen play by JK Rowling which will also be published shortly after the film debuts. For those of you who didn’t catch it, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a school book from the Harry Potter series, you can watch a trailer of the movie here.
What is even better than waiting for a new JK Rowling movie is checking out her digital publishing site, pottermore.com. Other than exclusive news updates about all things magical there are short stories by Rowling that cover almost any subject of the wizarding world. The collection, “How the Wizarding World Works”, talks about Floo Powder, wand cores and Rowling’s thought process around illness and disability when she first began
creating her magical world. The article on illness is quite good as it gives an insight to how much thought is put into story lines but remains hidden to its readers.
And if all that doesn’t work to get you back on your feet you can take quizzes on Pottermore to find out which Hogwarts and Ilvermorny houses you belong to and find your own wand.
I write what-evah.
