Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch perform magic trick on “Graham Norton”

JK Rowling’s Newt Scamander upstaged Doctor Strange, the most powerful sorcerer in the world, in the most alluring way possible – by pulling some magic out of his sleeve.

Eddie Redmayne, the newest face of the wizarding world in the upcoming film ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ came face-to-face with ‘Doctor Strange’ star Benedict Cumberbatch last Friday. The British duo were guests on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, alongside ‘Breaking Bad’ icon Bryan Cranston, to chat about their upcoming movies – and begin to distract audience members with their enchanting abilities.

Is there a more fitting word than impressive? I don’t think so – Academy Award winner Redmayne can certainly add magician to his CV.

And the pair even jokingly said a potential crossover between their magical worlds could work. “Maybe for full on Marvel wizarding crossover, the potential for Doctor Strange to come into the wizarding world, will you give us a spell,”Redmayne said as he handed Cumberbatch his wand.

“Crossover wizardness. Hello. We might get sues for this,” laughed Cumberbatch.

‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ hits US cinemas November 18th. ‘Doctor Strange’ is out November 4th.
