Some people may be waiting for the ” Bazinga!” at the end of the headline, but it’s true, The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon are planning a crossover.
Young Sheldon’s Iain Armitage (Sheldon), Lance Barber (George) and Montana Jordan (Georgie) will make cameos in character for a December episode of TBBT.
There’s no word yet on how exactly this crossover will happen, but December isn’t that far away.
“We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past 12 seasons. We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close,” CBS and Chuck Lorre Productions said in a joint statement.
How do you think the crossover will happen? Maybe it’ll be in a dream or maybe Sheldon finally succeeds in inventing time travel. Who knows?
The crossover episode will happen in December and until then The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m., with Young Sheldon at 8:30 p.m., both on CBS.
