6 TV Shows That You Can Binge Over and Over Again and Still Love

Have you ever been scrolling through Netflix or Hulu trying to find a new movie or television series to start binging when, after hours of searching, you just end up re-watching something you’ve already seen hundreds of times over? Sure, we’ve all been there. Starting a new series can mean a huge commitment (I’m looking at you, 13 seasons worth of Supernatural), so sometimes it’s just easier to have a few trusty, quality series available as back up. For times, just like the one we described above, here are five great television series (in no particular order) that you can re-watch over and over again and still always love:

1 – Friends

Oh yes, no one told you life was going to be this way except, well, Friends did! The series, which premiered in 1994, was hilarious back then and its humor still holds up all these years later. With 10 seasons of crazy antics from Monica, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, and Joey, there are plenty of episodes to keep you busy for days on end, and just because you already know all the lines doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy them! Friends is currently available to stream on Netflix and can be found airing in syndication on TBS, Nickelodeon, the Paramount Network and a bunch of other stations.

2 – The Walking Dead (especially the early seasons)

Despite some grumblings about the series and its later seasons lacking what originally made the show special, The Walking Dead is still an awesome option to binge over and over again. If you’re a Walking Dead fan, I’m sure anytime there’s a marathon on television, you sit and watch at least part of it. The early seasons of the series had some masterpiece episodes which can be enjoyed time and time again. I mean, I still get chills when Sophia walks out of that barn. That moment is, by far, the top three best moments from the series and I’ll never tire of watching that episode on repeat. The Walking Dead can currently be found on Netflix through season 7. Season 8 is expected to be added sometime around September.

3 – Parks and Recreation

There was never a dull moment with the Pawnee Parks Department, and there’s still never a dull moment when you re-watch the series for the hundredth time. I have, just recently, started re-watching Parks and Recreation once again, and even though the series ended three years ago in 2015, the antics of the local government spoof series is still so relevant. If you haven’t watched this one in a while, treat yo’self because Parks and Rec is on Netflix and it’s certainly a series you can watch, “time after time!”

4 – LOST

This addition to the list might be a controversial pick. When LOST aired from 2004 to 2010, you either loved the show and everything about it or you absolutely hated the series. While giving this one a re-watch recently, and subsequently posting about it on Facebook, I’ve come to learn that the LOST divide is still very much alive. That being said, in my opinion, LOST was (and still is) one of the most brilliant and beautiful series that has ever aired. The show was filled with so many twists and turns that, even if you’ve watched this show hundreds of times through, you would probably still catch something new on the hundredth and first time. LOST can be found currently on Hulu!

5  – New Girl

New Girl recently aired it seventh and final season, so now is the perfect time to look back and binge the series from start to finish. It’s also a great series to watch anytime you feel the need to put a smile on your fact. The quick-witted humor and incredible chemistry from this stellar cast make this show one to watch pretty much on repeat. New Girl can currently be found on Netflix through its final season.

6 – Scrubs

First premiering in 2001, Scrubs is another series that has stood the test of time with eight amazing seasons. Yeah, that’s right, I said eight and not nine. Let’s just ignore that the ninth season ever happened, ok? Because I’m sure you still haven’t caught every single word from one of Dr. Cox’s many angry rants, the first eight seasons are, without a doubt, a “go to” for repeat binging. Scrubs is currently available on Hulu and in syndication on Fuse and Comedy Central.
