Vin Diesel Pays Tribute to Paul Walker With Touching Instagram Post

With filming of the new Fast 8 film kicking into high gear over the past several weeks, The Fast and the Furious star Vin Diesel has been sharing many memories of his late co-star and friend, Paul Walker.

Walker, who played Brian O’Conner in the film franchise, was tragically killed in a car accident in November of 2013.  Diesel and Walker had grown extremely close during filming the franchise and developed a bond of brotherhood.  Diesel and the “Fast Crew” were devastated after the tragic accident.  Earlier this year, Diesel even said at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards that he wasn’t sure if he could come back to filming Furious 7 but, it was the love of the cast and crew that helped them see that film through to the end.

During the past several weeks of filming Fast 8, it’s clear that Diesel has never lost sight of that love and inspiration. Only a few weeks earlier, Diesel posted the below photo to Instagram with the caption, “Many of the crew members who have worked on several of the past Fast films are here again to help us make something special. One of them at the end of the week came up to me and said wow what we are capturing on film is excellent… And then looked at me and said Paul would be proud. #wemakethemwithourhearts”

Just yesterday, Diesel posted the below touching tribute to Walker.  In the photo, Diesel is showed lifting his daughter, Pauline, into the air while Walker looks down on them from above.  Pauline was born last year and is named after Paul Walker.  In the below photo, it is almost as if Walker is being shown as a guardian angel, looking down on the pair, as the caption says, “Always…”

Furious 7 also paid tribute to Walker during the final scene of the film with the addition of Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again during the ending credits.

Paul Walker is surely missed however, with Vin Diesel continuing to share moments like this, we know his memory will live on forever.  We miss you, Paul!
