When fans left the theater having seen Avengers: Infinity War, a few strong emotions were being felt. Sadness, confusion, a sense of relief – albeit small – that not all of our heroes died, and an overwhelming urge to either rewind time and pretend IW never happened or to fast forward it.
While neither option is possible, we are looking to Avengers 4 to do something spectacular. While it’s been said, more than once, that all Infinity War deaths were permanent, we’re still holding out hope that things can change. We’re also holding out hope that they can change without losing anyone else.
That being said, we aren’t actually silly enough to believe that, especially after reading the synopsis for Avengers 4. Revealed in License Global, the synopsis is brief but hard-hitting.
‘A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.’
A fragile reality and sacrifices? Here we were thinking Infinity War was an emotional rollercoaster.
Avengers 4 will undoubtedly make it look like a walk in the park.
You can see Infinity War in theaters, now. Avengers 4 hits the big screen in 2019.
