Ain’t no rest for the wicked in ‘The Woods’. There is definitely something evil hiding in the shadows of the forest.

I have to admit, the modified song for ‘Every Breath you Take’ (originally written by The Police) blanketing this trailer alone gave me some chills. I enjoy a good horror flick, and I can guarantee you I will be checking this one out. It looks as though both The Witch and The Darkness may have some competition for scariest horror film this year.
The film is directed by Adam Wingard (The Guest) and written by Simon Barrett. Both have managed to keep details of their fall horror film under wraps. All we know is it’s about a group of friends who take a trip into the woods. Hmm. Unfortunately for them, the trip looks like it goes horribly, horrendously wrong.
The Woods creeps into theaters on September 16th, 2016.
