Superman And Lois is very nearly here and boy oh boy are we in for a treat! Every piece of news we get in regards to this show just leaves me frothing for more! I’m desperate to see Superman back in action and starring in his own ongoing show! Superman And Lois is the seventh show to be a part of the CW’s Arrowverse. It’s actually excellent that we’re getting new blood since Arrow ended last year and Supergirl and Black Lightning will be ending with their current seasons. At least Superman And Lois will be taking one of those slots.
There are some problems to having so many superhero shows. Not for me, I love them all, but I can understand where certain people are coming from. With so many superhero shows how do you make yours stand out? Well, Todd Helbing, Superman And Lois showrunner, is on top of it. Here is how Superman And Lois is trying to stand out!
“Whenever you do any of these shows, you want to make them slightly different. We just approached this as much as we could like a feature — from the aspect ratio to the cinematography to the look to the design of the house and farm. We are competing with shows on cable and streamers…we wanted to be able to do that and offer audiences something of equal quality.” said Todd Helbing while speaking with Deadline. It sounds like Helbing is taking the show quite seriously and wants to deliver a truly exceptional Superman show. If they’re approaching this like a feature there’s no telling how high Superman And Lois could leap!
Superman And Lois will be premiering on February 23 at 8 PM ET/PT on the CW. This will be followed by a half-hour special titled Superman And Lois: Legacy Of Hope!
