Check Out the Crazy Teaser for Jennifer Lawrence’s New Thriller, ‘Mother!’
A teaser trailer for Jennifer Lawrence’s new movie titled Mother! was released today and it sure leads to a lot of questions.
The short 30-second clip shows Lawrence walking around her house while voiceovers play in the background depicting some uninvited guests who find their way into her and her husband’s (Javier Bardem) home.
The psychological thriller’s teaser then ends with a bunch of short and freaky clips flashing quickly on the screen.
Aside from its IMDB description of a film that “centers on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence” not much is really known about the film. It’s written and Directed by Darren Aronofsky who also did Black Swan so you can guarantee it’s going to be a hell of a lot more than your run of the mill home invasion movie.
In addition to Lawrence, the film also stars Ed Harris, Javier Bardem, and Michelle Pfeiffer. It’s set to hit theaters on Septemeber 15th.
