An all new season of Amazon Prime’s Bosch becomes available on Friday, April 21st. Get ready for more mystery, action, and heart-felt drama from an amazing cast, including Titus Welliver as the title character Harry Bosch.

Bosch is a thrilling adaptation of the popular novels by Michael Connelly. Detective Harry Bosch is an immensely popular character in an ongoing series by Connelly. As a fan of the books, I was thrilled to see Bosch come to life on screen. But I do not feel like anything is spoiled being a reader because so far the series has pulled from multiple books each season and not necessarily in the order they were released.

Season 3 of Bosch pulls from two different books, The Black Echo and A Darkness More than Night. Fans of the books will love seeing familiar characters come to life visually. Aside from Welliver in the title role, fans are treated to Amy Aquino playing Lt. Grace Billets and Jamie Hector playing Harry’s partner Jerry Edgar.

Madison Lintz and Sarah Clarke bring much depth and warmth to their characters, Harry’s daughter Maddie and ex-wife Eleanor Wish, respectively. And then you have the infamous Deputy Chief Irvin Irving played brilliantly by Lance Reddick.

Viewers can get on board or revisit Bosch seasons 1 and 2 on Amazon Prime. Although, author Michael Connelly shares in a Facebook live Q&A that watching the series in order, while recommended, is certainly not required. As a fan from the beginning, I can vouch for each season being able to tell a story standalone while also tying some ongoing threads between them.

While Harry may solve one case, he is quickly on to another. And some mysteries go unsolved across seasons, haunting our leading man. You can watch the full IMDB Facebook live Q&A with Titus Welliver and Michael Connelly here:

Whether a current reader of the books or not, viewers get to go on an intense ride along with the soulful and discerning Detective Harry Bosch.

Bosch season 3 becomes available on Amazon Prime on April 21st. Be there as Harry digs deep to unravel the mysteries surrounding the victims of homicide, none more important than another.
