‘Bane’ Gets His Own Comic Series
We are just a few days out from Free Comic Book Day, and what better way to prepare for it other than by celebrating a brand new comic book series for one of Gotham’s most fearsome villains, Bane!
Bane, who is probably one of the most feared Batman villains alongside the joker, is most notably known as ‘the man who broke the Bat’. Literally. Many comic fans recall the infamous back-breaking scene in Knightfall, which they also portrayed in the movie The Dark Knight Rises. Bane is steadily becoming a more terrifying and complex character. When I say complex, I mean he’s got morals…. but he’s got a pretty interesting set of them.
Bane is returning for a 12-issue maxi-series from his original co-creators, artists Graham Nolan and artist Chuck Dixon. The very first issue of Bane: Conquest will in fact be hitting the stores today! There are in fact four different covers of the issue that have been released! I can assure you, since my boyfriend and I are avid Bane lovers… we will be on a mission to collect them all!!
So head out to your local comic book store and grab your copies today!!
