After shattering box office records during the COVID-19 epidemic, A Quiet Place Part 2 premiered last year, and now Paramount Pictures and John Krasinski have revealed when we will get A Quiet Place 3 and a new franchise tale.
As reported by Variety and The Hollywood Reporter earlier, the film studio and director, as well as the lead star of A Quiet Place and its current sequel, revealed the third sequel will premiere in 2025 during an investor presentation, but little is known about his role within the franchise thus far.
The films in this collection occur in a world where miserable aliens who are blind and rely on sight to find food have destroyed civilizations. The franchise’s creator, Krasinski, came up with the first notion.
It’s unclear whether Krasinski, his co-stars Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, or Noah Jupe will return. Director Jeff Nichols of Loving fame was previously set to helm A Quiet Place 3 but left the project. Krasinski directed the first and second installments of the series.
