Ryan Murphy Confirms We Will See President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in Season 7 of ‘American Horror Story’
New details regarding American Horror Story season 7 are starting to roll in and, this season sounds particularly intriguing. Here’s what we know so far.
Show creator Ryan Murphy has already announced that season 7 of American Horror Story will be set to focus around a Presidential election, particularly the most recent 2017 election. We already know that Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are confirmed to return however, their roles remain unknown though, Peters has recently called dibs on playing the role of Ivanka Trump (most likely a joke but with Ryan Murphy, you just never know). Additional confirmed castings include Scream Queens star Billie Lourd and Billy on the Street host Billy Eichner.
We’ve seen some crazy and cryptic Instagram posts from Murphy including a potential new monster reminiscent of the Republican Party, a “red, white and blue clue” showing someone (most likely Evan Peters) with blue dyed hair, and a totally new look for star Billie Lorde.
But so far, that’s it! Until today, that is. Today, via twitter, the Hollywood Reporter tweeted out a short video clip of an interview with the man himself, Ryan Murphy. In the video, Murphy confirms the election theme will, in fact, be that of the 2017 election and, we will see some version of President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the series. Season 7 will begin right at election night and, according to Murphy, will explore both the euphoric feeling of winning and the fear felt from the other side of the spectrum.
Previously, Murphy had alluded to the possibility of the real life Presidential election candidates making an appearance however, in the below clip, Murphy confirms their existence in the AHS universe. Check it out:

The series is sure to be politically charged which could result in the loss of some viewership but, with the twisted mind of Ryan Murphy still at the helm, one thing’s for sure. We are in for one hell of a ride!
