WATCH: ‘The Walking Dead’ Cast Reflects on How the Show Has Changed Their Lives

The road to the 100th episode of The Walking Dead continues!  As we get closer and closer to October, we can’t help but be consumed by an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia and reflection towards the series.  As it turns out, the cast seems to be feeling exactly the same way too.

In a new video from The Walking Dead‘s social media accounts, the cast of the hit AMC series takes some time out of their grueling filming schedules to reminisce and reflect on how the show has impacted their lives.  The two and a half minute video features the entire main cast including Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Lennie James, Steven Ogg, Josh McDermitt, Chandler Riggs, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Tom Payne, Ross Marquand, Katelyn Nacon, Austin Amelio, Seth Gilliam, Khary Payton, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Pollyanna McIntosh, Xander Berkeley, Danai Guria and Melissa McBride speaking, on a personal level, about their experiences since joining the series.

In the below video, Andrew Lincoln says, “Being Rick Grimes has taught me a lot about who I am.”  Norman Reedus says the series has made him a better person and a harder worker.  One common theme mentioned throughout the video is how the cast has become a true family and, well, it’s just making us a little bit teary-eyed.  Check out the video below:

The Walking Dead will be celebrating its 100th episode with a preview special airing on AMC ahead of the season 8 premiere.  The preview special will air on Sunday, September 10th.  The series will return with brand new episodes starting on Sunday, October 22nd.  It’s almost here!  Are you excited?
