‘Venom’ Director Hints at Post Credit Scene
The closer we get to the theatrical debut of Venom, the more we learn about what the film is about from its star-studded cast and crew.
These bits of information also hint on whether or not Venom will follow the Marvel signature post-credits scene trend. The film’s director, Ruben Fleischer recently had an interview with Fandango where he revealed that it;s important to wait and see.
“I think it would be a mistake of any superhero movie fan not to stay through the credits,” Fleischer said.
What would a Venom post-credits scene hold? How could it set up future film?
There is speculation that Peter Parker could be involved, so perhaps we’ll get to see Tom Holland at the end of the film. That would be a very welcome surprise. It’s likely that the scene will set up for a sequel to Venom. It’s now known that Tom hardy has signed on for three MCU films.
Spider-Man would be the most likely character to appear in the film, as many characters in his universe belong in Sony’s Spider-Verse. They include Black Cat, Morbius, Silver Sable and more.
Venom, which stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams and Riz Ahmed will premiere in theaters on October 5th.
