POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD

Sunday’s episode, titled, “The World Before”, Daryl calls out Carol for her desire to taking kill Alpha at any cost. Carol is obsessed with her pursuit of Alpha and Daryl is beyond concerned.

“Will you stop this shit?” begs Daryl. “Please. You want her dead so bad you don’t even care what happens to you.” When Carol responds, “That’s not true,” Daryl then says, “You never came off that boat. It’s like talking to a goddamn ghost.”

Daryl then reminds Carol of their bond and friendship: “I’m the one you tell. Me.” They then hug and Daryl reminds Carol, “She’s not worth it. She’s not. She’s a dead woman anyway. We have a future. Don’t let her take that too.”

The Whisperer War feels imminent and so does a showdown between Alpha and Carol, both clearly the women at the top in their groups.

Do you think a fight is on the horizon between Alpha and Carol? Is this one match that Carol can’t win? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
