Peter Parker is Back in First ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Trailer

Peter Parker may have heartbreakingly fallen victim to Thanos’ snap, but that hasn’t stopped Marvel from hyping up his upcoming film, Spider-Man: Far From Home! Despite the fact that Spider-Man and the other fallen heroes were nowhere to be seen in the Avengers: Endgame trailer, the first look at Spidey’s highly anticipated sequel has finally dropped, thanks to some help from Tom Holland, and Peter is very much alive.

The trailer finds Peter and friends heading to Europe for a school trip where Peter’s plans to spend more time with MJ (Zendaya) are thrown for a loop when Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) shows up. It also teases the arrival of Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio, who only just recently confirmed his role in the film last month with an Instagram post after months of rumors and speculation. So, even with all of the questions surrounding timelines and the events of Infinity War still fresh in our minds, we couldn’t be happier to see our favorite web-slinger back in action. Check out the first teaser trailer below!

Sony also unveiled a new poster!

Other new faces include Marco Polo alum Remy Hill,  J.B. Smoove, and Numan Acar, who have also joined the cast in mystery roles. Cobie Smulder’s Maria Hill will also be appearing in the film alongside Jackson despite both characters falling victims to Thanos’ snap in the Infinity War post-credit scene as well.

In addition to Holland, Spider-Man: Far From Home will find Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Michael Bolton, and Marisa Tomei all reprising their Homecoming roles.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be the first MCU film coming out after Avengers: Endgame, hitting theaters on July 5, 2019.
