Sebastian Stan Recalls a Somber day for Tony Stark in ‘Mission Report’ Instagram Post

One of the most heartbreaking parts of an Avengers film so far has been the moment when Tony Stark found out that the Winter Soldier killed his parents.

So on Friday, when we saw the date on the calendar was December 16th, well…we thought about that whole mission report thing and felt that pang of sympathy for Bucky Barnes. Now, we aren’t extraordinary masochists or anything (always falling for the bad guy), but Bucky isn’t a villain. He’s Steve’s best friend turned killing machine but he always remembers his pull to being human…even if it’s very clouded.

Looks like Sebastian Stan was thinking about Bucky too, and showing some serious remorse.

Rightfully so, too, if we do say so ourselves. Not that we blame Steve for sticking up for his best friend but the Winter Soldier was literally at the center of a ‘civil war’ between the Avengers. Plus, when Avengers: Infinity War begins, we’ll still see a group of Avengers divided.

With Thanos on his way to destroy anything and everything in his path, we need to see unity now more than ever.
