SDCC 2018: AMC Drops Full ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ 4B Trailer

Heading into San Diego Comic-Con this year there was a ton of buzz and chatter about AMC’s two Walking Dead panels, which were being hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown. While The Walking Dead is heading into a game-changing season 9 with a new showrunner and two series regulars exiting,  Fear the Walking Dead is also entering a new chapter in the back half of season 4.

The midseason finale revealed the shocking death of leading matriarch, Madison (Kim Dickens). It was a huge move for the series, which also killed off Frank Dillane’s character Nick earlier in the season, but with new characters such as Maggie Grace’s Althea and Garret Dillahunt’s John Dorie hitting the scene along with The Walking Dead  crossover character Morgan Jones (Lennie James), the series is taking on the challenge.

We got a sneak peek of the trailer yesterday, but the full 4b trailer has finally arrived! There is a terrible storm brewing and walkers are literally flying through the air, Check it out below!

The trailer was released during Fear the Walking Dead’s SDCC panel where the full cast was on hand to discuss all things season 4 alongside Executive Producers and Showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, Executive Producers Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert.

The panel and the exclusive trailer are surely enough to satisfy a Walking Dead fan, but AMC really upped their game this year at the con with The Dead Quarters experience. The Walking Dead immersive experience features “a curated walk through of settings from both series, including The Sanctuary and a thrilling 22-foot Zombie slide, inspired by the one in Fear as well as photo opportunities with the walker composter and Negan’s “flaming Lucille,” among other activities.”

Fear the Walking Dead returns to AMC for the back half of season 4 on Sunday, August 12 at 9:00 pm EST. It will be followed by Talking Dead, which will be temporarily hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown.
