‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ is Coming to Netflix in July

Just as summer is starting to heat up, Netflix is swooping in a super awesome reason to stay indoors for a movie night.  The streaming service has announced that starting in July, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be available for your viewing pleasure.

The film is arguably one of the best Star Wars films to be released since the originals so as if having instant streaming access to the film wasn’t cool enough, this also marks a first for the film franchise. Rogue One will officially be the first live-action Star Wars film to be made available on the streaming service for viewers within the United States.

Last year, Netflix announced that it had sealed a deal which granted the streaming service the rights to start hosting all Disney and Disney-owned content including anything from Pixar and, of course, Lucasfilm.

So, if you’re looking for a cool way to beat the heat this summer, why not curl up on the couch in the nice, cool air conditioning and watch an all around awesome flick?  Repeat after us, “I am one with Netflix.  Netflix is one with me.  I am one with Netflix.
