Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt are looking dapper in the first official image released from the upcoming film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. DiCaprio shared the first photo to his Instagram account early on Wednesday morning.
The photo shows both DiCaprio and Pitt sporting 60s-inspired clothing while casually leaning against rustic-looking concrete columns. DiCaprio captioned the photo keeping it short and sweet. He simply said, “First look. #OnceUponATimeInHollywood.” Check it out.
From Sony Pictures, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood takes place in Los Angeles during 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor…Sharon Tate.
The film is written and directed by Quentin Tarantino and is his ninth feature film overall. Georgia Kacandes is executive producer while David Heyman and Shannon McIntosh produce along with Tarantino as well.
Additional casting includes Margot Robbie as Tate, Burt Reynolds, Dakota Fanning as Manson family associate Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme, Al Pacino, Damian Lewis as iconic actor Steve McQueen, Emile Hirsch, Timothy Olyphant, James Marsden, and Tim Roth.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood hits theaters on August 9, 2019. What do you think about the first look at the upcoming film? Do you like Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt’s style? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
