‘Legends of Tomorrow’: Ramona Young and Tom Wilson Join Season 4

Legends of Tomorrow: Ramona Young and Tom Wilson Join Season 4

During San Diego Comic Con this past weekend, it was announced that two new faces would be joining Legends of Tomorrow in Season 4. Ramona Young (Blockers, Santa Clarita Diet) has been cast as Alaska Yu and be a series regular, while Tom Wilson (The Informant) will recur in the role of Hank Heywood.

Alaska is described as a young adult who loves the idea of romance and fantasy novels, which means she gets caught up in the life of time travel. Once a part of the Legends, she will learn what it means to be a hero. Hank Heywood is the father of Legend Nate and it will be interesting to see more of Nate’s familial history play out on the show. Season 2 introduced us to Nate’s grandfather, Henry Heywood (aka Commander Steel), who Nate had only heard stories of.

Season 4 will find the Legends cleaning up their latest mess of releasing mystical creatures known as “Fugitives” when defeating Mallus. Constantine appeared in the season finale to tell the crew that they’ve once again messed up the timeline, presenting them with the head of a dragon. Since the season will deal with fantasy, it makes sense that Alaska would join in on the fun. It will be a rude awakening for her to see the pages of her favorite books come to life.

Young and Wilson join previously announced series regular additions Matt Ryan (John Constantine), Jes Macallan (Ava Sharpe), and Courtney Ford (Nora Darhk).

Legends of Tomorrow kicks off its fourth season Monday, October 22, on The CW.
