Jordan Peele’s Next Movie Promises “A New Nightmare”
Even though people are still talking about the brilliant (and Oscar-winning!) film that was Get Out, Jordan Peele is moving on to his next project and from the little bit that we already know, it sounds like another winner. Peele took to Twitter to announce the movie, which is titled Us, by revealing the poster that says “A New Nightmare From The Mind Of Academy Award Winner Jordan Peele.” Plus, not only is the poster stunning, but the rumored cast is also incredible.

Much like Get Out, Peele will be directing Us from his own original script. The film is slated to hit theaters March 2019, and according to The Hollywood Reporter would follow “two couples, one white, one black.” Currently, Black Panther’s Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke are being eyed for roles as is The Handmaid’s Tale’s, Elisabeth Moss.

Fans are already excited about the new project and trying to decipher just what the poster means.

YOU: Kyle, what’s the quickest you can overanalyze something?
ME: jordan peele’s new movie poster looks like a Rorschach test and paired with the the title “us”, seems to suggest a film that will invite us to look at ourselves and determine what we see. So, two minutes? pic.twitter.com/JX7YLvkpTP

What do you think about Peele’s follow-up film?
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
