News has been coming in from all sides with the Joker movie in full production. Now that we have an entire fantastic cast, its time to see a little more of the clown prince of crime.

Warner Bros. released the repost through their official Twitter page. I didn’t know what I could expect once I opened the video, but I sure wasn’t expecting this. Now, I can hear some people say that this is not a Joker look that we want, but you do have to keep in mind that this story is all about the pre-Joker era. If you try a look, it takes you a few times until you have ‘THE‘ look. This classic clown look still gives me the shivers.
Previous set photos that are roaming the internet show a Joaquin Phoenix wandering what seems like a circus, where he interacts with one of the clowns (Glenn Fleshler). It kind of looks like that makeup, which makes me think, will Arthur Fleck join the circus before he loses his mind?
As this movie is not a follow up on the DCU, there are no clues as to what is to come for Todd Phillips‘ directed Joker origin movie. There is no way of knowing this is the result of the full Joker look.
What do you think of the first look of the Joker in full makeup? Let us know in the comments below.
Joker will hit theaters on October 4, 2019.
Read the official synopsis here:
“Joker” centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study but also a broader cautionary tale.
