You heard that right! In a post from Entertainment Weekly, the couple wed early this October in a surprise intimate ceremony amidst assumptions that they had been married already for the past 10 years. In reality the couple had not been married but Momoa still affectionately referred to Bonet as his wife.
Jason (38) and Lisa (49) met each other in 2005. Their first child, Lola, was born in July of 2007. The next year, the couple welcomed their second child, Nakoa-Wolf. Bonet has a daughter from her previous relationship with Lenny Kravitz named Zoë.
“It was through mutual friends. It just happened on a serendipitous night and we just kind of met and I thought she left, but I was living out of a hotel and I invited her to the diner. … I was a fool. … She ended up liking me, so that was good enough,” Jason Momoa on how he met Lisa Bonet. “She’s so amazing because I’m such a dip****! She’s an angel. She’s amazing. God bless her. She’s seeing this one through. I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life.”
Lisa and their two children recently surprised Jason for his birthday in August on the set of Aquaman in Queensland, Australia.
The Hawaiian native is seen pictured with his family and an Aquaman birthday cake.
Congratulation to the happy couple and their family.
