The New ‘Justice League’ Trailer Highlights a World Without Hope

The world remains in mourning after the death of Superman

What could be darker than the end of the world? Fans will come face to face with that answer with the premiere of the new Justice Leauge film set to hit theaters on November 17th. The trailer itself is dark but the story it’s telling is darker. Can the League save the world without Superman? Will Batman be able to keep his promise? Will Lois Lane ever be the same?

However, we think the biggest question is this: will Superman return in Justice League like we expected him to? Yes, he does appear in Lois Lane’s heart-wrenching dream, but aside from standing in that field making our hearts ache, will we see him at all? If we do, will it only be in Lane’s dreams?

While the trailer doesn’t give us the answer to any of those questions, we do see that the heroes will stop at nothing to save the world. Batman assembles a team worthy of the title of ‘Justice League’ and brings them face to face with the Parademon invasion.

We see more of the imminent battle in this trailer, with a bit of focus on each character as they try to take down evil. Each of them understands the importance of their part in the battle. Not just for themselves and for the legacy of Superman, but for the future of mankind.

‘If you seek his monument, look around you’, a plaque reads in the trailer. The Justice Leauge keeps his monument safe, waiting until he makes his comeback.

As for us? We’re still holding out hope that his return happens in Justice League. However, if we must wait longer, at least we’ve got these incredible heroes to fight the worldly, and otherworldly, evil that exists.

Additionally, a trailer with more scenes focused on the battle was released on the Justice League Instagram. You can view it below.
