Hulu’s Live TV Service Adds The CW

Hulu Live TV is adding to its roster of live programming.

The streaming service announced Monday that they have entered into an agreement with The CW’s parent company CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Entertainment. Under the agreement, The CW will be joining Hulu’s live TV streaming service joining the other four broadcast networks that have been previously announced.

“The CW has long attracted younger audiences to live TV, so we are very happy to offer the network through Hulu’s new live service,” said Tim Connolly, Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Distribution.

Hulu Live’s subscribers will have access to The CW’s live programming, including Arrowverse favorites, Riverdale, Supernatural, and new series Valor and Dynasty. Video on Demand will be available to subscribers soon, according to Hulu.

“The CW is excited to be a part of Hulu’s groundbreaking new live TV service,” said Chris Brooks, Executive Vice President, Network Distribution, The CW. “This new partnership furthers our goal of expanding our audience across digital platforms.”

Hulu’s Live TV service is currently in beta and will be available for $39.99 per month. The service is available mobile and internet-connected living room devices including Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Xbox, and Chromecast.
