Hulu Announces Premiere Dates for ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’, ‘The Path’ & More
Hulu is ready to get their 2018 television season underway after recently announcing four series premiere dates and who can blame them? Their critically acclaimed series The Handmaid’s Tale is still fresh off it’s huge Emmy win for Outstanding Drama Series and viewers have been anxiously awaiting for Aaron Paul’s cult drama The Path to return for its third season.
On top of those two Hulu staples, the streaming service also released premiere dates for two new original series, The Looming Tower and Hard Sun. So, it looks like 2018 is already shaping up to be a great year for what once was just a website designed to house already aired television episodes.

The Path
Wednesday, January 17
Season 3
The Path follows Eddie Lane (Aaron Paul), a man who converts to a controversial following and suffers from a crisis of faith. Season 2 ended with Eddie leading a band of expelled former Meyerists back to the compound, where he plans to make a power play for control of the movement. But Cal (Hugh Dancy) and Sarah (Michelle Monaghan) are holding court for now, even if things are on the outs for the former couple.

Season 1
A new series following detectives Robert Hicks and Elaine Renko, partners and enemies, who seek to enforce the law and protect their loved ones in a world that every day slips closer to a world-ending natural disaster. The first season will run for 6 episodes and stars Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe) and Agyness Deyn (Clash of the Titans).

Season 2
The second season of this Emmy award-winning dystopian series will follow Offred’s pregnancy and her ongoing fight to free her future child from the horrors of Gilead. It stars Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd and Max Minghella.
