Georgie is the one who got away in ‘IT’ deleted scene
We are a little over a week away until Andrew Muschietti’s readaptation of IT is released on DVD & Blu-Ray, and the excitement here at Fan Fest cannot be contained. (Well, at least my excitement cannot be contained!)
The DVD is rumored to have several deleted scenes and special features, including an exclusive with Mr. King himself. I’m not going to lie, I am quite stoked.
One of the deleted scenes that will be on the DVD is actually an alternate opening that was shot completely for laughs and giggles.
For those of you who have seen the movie, you know that the first ten minutes are probably one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the entire movie. Bill’s younger brother, Georgie, meets his demise at the hands of Pennywise the Dancing Clown in the Derry Sewer.
However, in this deleted scene you will see the Georgie manages to get away from the wicked clown, and happily run off back to his family.
Check it out below:
I’m really looking forward to seeing what other deleted scenes and special features will be coming along with this movie. In fact, Best Buy actually is having a Steel Book available for the film for those of you who collect them for just $29.99!
IT is currently available for digital download, and the physical copy will be released on January 9th, 2018.
