Square Enix might not be taking the E3 stage till tomorrow night; but that didn’t stop them from dropping some major news about the long awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake – as well as a new trailer. During tonight’s concert FINAL FANTASY VII – A Symphonic Reunion, an entire concert dedicated to Final Fantasy VII, a brand new trailer was revealed to those in attendance. And now we get to see it too!
As you can see in the trailer, we get loads of never before seen footage as well as our first look at President Shinra, Heidegger (I’m assuming), Limit breaks as well as some new monsters. Though I’m going to save the trailer analysis for after Square’s Conference tomorrow since this is apparently the short version of a larger trailer.
There’s a lot to come so please stay tuned! We’ll have a full trailer analysis and conference breakdown after tomorrow’s keynote and I’ll also be updating our ‘Monster Comparison/ Evolution Guide’ with all the new ones shown off in this trailer. For now, please enjoy this glorious appetizer of a trailer and rejoice because the Final Fantasy VII Remake (or at least Part 1 of it) is scheduled to be released March 3rd, 2020!
