‘Deadpool’s’ Ed Skrein Joins ‘Maleficent’ Sequel
Everyone loves a good villain and Ed Skrein has certainly proven that he can be just that. The Deadpool villain is jumping from the world of superheroes to the magic of Disney to star opposite Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning in the upcoming sequel to Maleficent as you guessed it – the villain.
DisneyThe first film, which was based on Sleeping Beauty, broke several box office records and brought in over $750 million in 2014. While the premise of the follow-up film and Skrein’s part are still unknown, we do know that it will be directed by Pirates of the Caribbean 5 Joachim Ronning.
Ed Skrein previously starred in Game of Thrones as Daario Naharis before being recast and will soon be stepping into another villainous role in Fox’s Alita: Battle Angel, which is being produced by James Cameron.
