When James Corden announced that his show would be going to London for a few special episodes, fans of The Late Late Show with James Corden were ecstatic. James is a household name in the US now but he hails from the other side of the pond, or…ocean, and everyone is excited to see him broadcast his show from ‘home’.
Just two days ago, James announced who his visitors would be when the show hits London and he has pulled in some huge names. From Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman to Kit Harrington and Jennifer Hudson – and musical guests Harry Styles and Kings of Leon – he planned this trip out right. He also went on to announce that the carpool karaoke we’ve all been waiting for was finally happening.
Ed Sheeran is joining James on his way to work and his announcement video shows a sneak peek of the video. James and Ed both sing and rap in the vehicle and they are having so much fun that we’re already calling this one of the top 5 carpool karaokes in the show’s history.
Ed Sheeran is the biggest name in music right now, his return to the scene this year with a debut album that doesn’t have one song you’ll want to skip is amazing. From upbeat songs to really emotional tunes, he returned to music with a show of his talent and his staying power.
The clip also shows some of his guests and announces that Jennifer Hudson will be there for ‘Drop the Mic’ which is going to be incredible as well. James is making sure guests in the U.K. and the US can both watch the show and it’ll be aired on network stations in both countries.
