With season 11 of The Big Bang Theory right around the corner, we have a few questions…
Will Amy say yes? Are Penny and Leonard going to be ok? Will we meet Halley Wolowitz?
While the first 2 remain a mystery, there is an answer behind door number 3.
We will not see baby Halley for a very sweet and loving reason. Carol Ann Susi, who voiced Debbie Wolowitz, passed away on November 11, 2014 following a battle with cancer. Mrs. Wolowitz was never seen on screen; we only saw very quick glimpses of her.
“She is a loving tribute to her grandmother — this is a nice way for us to keep [Mrs. Wolowitz] alive. It also means we don’t have to have a baby on the set, so it solved lots of problems,” said Steven Molaro (showrunner).
Baby Halley is a tribute to both the character and actress.
Season 11 returns September 25, 2017 on CBS.
