Wizarding World of Harry Potter Adds Hot Butterbeer To Its Hollywood Menu
Calling all witches and wizards: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has added a most popular, scrumptious item to it’s Universal Studios Hollywood Menu in hot form: Butterbeer!
The drink, reminiscent of butterscotch and shortbread, is set to be offered seasonally at Three Broomsticks and Hog’s Head Pub, along with its traditional and frozen counterparts.
The Three Broomsticks’ menu includes Bangers & Mash (savory grilled English sausages with creamy mashed potatoes and minted peas), Shepherd’s Pie (ground beef and vegetables, crowned with a crust of mashed potatoes), Beef Sunday Roast (prime rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and gravy), Beef, Lamb, and Guinness Stew, and Fish and Chips. And for those with a sweet tooth, you can choose from either Butterbeer Potted Cream or Sticky Toffee Pudding.
As if you weren’t already salivating, the breakfast menu items feature the Eggy Bread (freshly baked baguette dipped in cinnamon egg batter and lightly sautéed, sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with bacon, strawberries, and real maple syrup), a traditional English breakfast (fresh scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, baked beans, baked tomato, and potato), as well as your traditional American breakfast (fresh scrambled eggs, potato, bacon and link sausage with a butter croissant.) Best of all, guests can enjoy their meal at custom-made wooden tables, chairs and benches in a warm and cozy setting inspired by the Harry Potter books and films.
For those who seek a more adult atmosphere, they can enjoy exclusive original draught beers and spirits at the adjoining Hog’s Head Pub – inspired by historic British taverns – such as Hog’s Head Brew, Dragon’s Scale, Wizard’s Brew and Fire Whiskey. Also available are Pumpkin Fizz and Gilly Water.
