WATCH: Here’s a New Clip from ‘It’ to Completely Terrify You Today

We are just days away from the release of It and everyone is just a bundle of excitement and nerves. After some brilliant marketing, terrifying trailers and early rave reviews It is shaping up to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer. If all of that hasn’t spiked your interest or the fact that Stephen King loved it, then perhaps this brand new (and creepy) teaser clip from the film will!

The clip teases It‘s opening scene when a boy named Georgie loses his boat down the sewer where it’s found by the notorious Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård). The hair on your arm will stand up as you watch the young and innocent Georgie come face to face with the threatening and alluring clown. While the clip has been trimmed down into just a minute package it still packs a punch. Georgie’s encounter with Pennywise will be the event that ultimately sets the whole film in motion.

Enjoy!

It is a film based off of Stephen King’s novel of the same name and is directed by Andy Muschietti. It follows a boy named Bill and his friends Eddie (Jack Dylan Grazer), Richie (Finn Wolfhard), Stan (Wyatt Oleff), Mike (Chosen Jacobs) and Beverly (Sophia Lillis), as they begin to investigate strange disappearances around their town of Derry, Maine. What they end up finding is even worse than they ever imagined.

It hits theaters this weekend!
