Video Project: ‘A Day in the Life of America’ by ‘Thirty Seconds to Mars’

This 4th of July, Thirty Seconds to Mars is putting together a unique and timely video project that consists of footage from fans to create a portrait of America within a 24 hour period on Independence Day 2017.

The band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, is made up of Oscar winner, Jared Leto, his brother Shannon Leto, and Tomo Miličević. They are asking fans to capture and submit what is most important to them, “whether it’s a single shot, event, or story”, they are looking to see “your America, the real America.”

Shooting materials from the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, they are hoping to document America during a special time in our history, “warts and all.” A group that has never shied away from voicing what is important to them, this project is definitely something that I look forward to. Hope to see more from them following the success of their 2013’s Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams album.

To take part in this project, go to the band’s website and submit what America means to you.

Will you be participating in this awesome project?
