Back in February, we heard that Transformers: The Last Knight would be the final run for Michael Bay in regards to the series. Now, it looks as though he is not the only one.
While conducting an interview on Friday with The Graham Norton Show, the actor revealed that: “It’s the last one so I get my life back!”
Wahlberg came in and helped reinvent the franchise after original cast members Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf departed from the film series.
Hang on, Transformer fans, the end is not here! While The Last Knight may turn out to be last one for both Bay and Wahlberg, the franchise already has a Transformers 6 and a Bumblebee movie planned for the future.
Wahlberg also stated in the interview with Graham Norton that he spent five months getting in prime physical condition for The Last Knight, including being stuck with a haircut that he absolutely despised.
“The long hair is the worst thing ever,” he joked. “I look like my mum in the ’70s – it’s just really bad!”
Transformers: The Last Knight will roll into theaters on June 21, 2017.
