There’s been a lot of news about The Walking Dead over the past several months with new shows, an extended Season 10, and more content on the way! Fans are excited about what’s to come, as the main Walking Dead show will come to an end with Season 11. And now we know when The Walking Dead will return in 2021! And now, we’ve got some of the first images of the new, upcoming epsidoes!

The best part? We get a glimpse of Maggie and Glenn’s son, Hershel Rhee!  True to form, he’s wearing a similar to hat to one that we see on Glenn in the first season of The Walking Dead!.

The show is set to return on February 28, 2021 with six new episodes. The titles of the episodes are as follows:

  • Home Sweet Home
  • Find Me
  • One More
  • Splinter
  • Diverged
  • Here’s Negan

The episode, Find Me, according to the synopsis, will be about:

“An adventure for Daryl and Carol turns sideways when they come across an old cabin. It takes Daryl back to the years when he left the group after Rick disappeared as he relives a time that only the apocalypse could manifest.”

Daryl was on his own during this six year period. He was away from the group and trying to reconcile the loss of Rick and what the future would bring.

On a previous episode of Talking Dead, Reedus said about Rick’s disappearance, “I think he’s been looking for this body. ‘If he died, where’s his body? … I think he needs closure. There’s a piece of this puzzle missing.” Obviously, Daryl didn’t get that closure and, at this moment, he’s not aware that Michonne located some clues that Rick may still be alive.

What’s also amazing is the title of the last episode, Here’s Negan. This is the exact title used for the stand alone comic book that featured Negan’s backstory. If you’ve been paying attention, then you already know that this episode has been filming with Jeffrey Dean Morgan portraying Negan with his real-life wife, Hilarie Burton, portraying Negan’s wife, Lucille. The episode will be completely focused on Negan’s back story.

This all sounds like one amazing of The Walking Dead that we have to look forward to! What are you most excited about in these upcoming six episodes of The Walking Dead? Let us know in the comments below! Check out our Walking Dead Christmas guide too!

  1. Please do not end the walking dead, this is the best thing on tv. This is how we escape our world to enjoy this wonderful show. There is so many other things that you can do with this show then end it. Myself and others are not ready to let this show go.Y’all are the only one who know how to keep the audience on their feet, even though there are some things that you did hurt the show but people still watch it. we want to see judith an maggie an glens son grow up maybe them to date an take over for rick and maggie, they could be the ones that cure the world and make it better. we want it to continue so please rethink about your decision. Thank You

  2. Will the walking dead cross over to fear the walking dead again? And will they both come in the path of the Hellicopter people. That’s who took Rick..

  3. Please let the walking dead stay on Please I watch that show every since it started I love to watch it and I miss Rick please bring him back so he can meet his son his Daughter needs their parents

  4. “The Walking Dead” must continue. It must, I say! As a loyal viewer of the show since the first episode, with both shock and utter devotion, I have remained a constant viewer even through lost of main characters that could have ended the show; as many other T.V. shows. I was aware of the Comic Book and that the show followed it to a point, but the creativity of the writers and the quality of the actors took us up and down roads to places not visited by the Comic Book. They added an adventure that has captivated us all for these many years. When we developed love for these new characters that lead us on with hope for the survival of man-kind, they gave us the details to believe in the The Walking Dead. Like the current pandemic, “you can’t make up this stuff”. They created it, and made a lot of people like me, entertained and intertwined with the story of what will happen to man-kind. Please don’t leave us with a sudden conclusion like was done in the show “Lost”. I need to know if Judith out-lived Carl for a good reason like becoming the leader, if Maggie and Glen’s son, Hershel will take part in the future of these people. I need to know is Rick is safe and well, and not a prisoner of the Helicopter people who took him. Will Michonne find Rick, will Daryl ever find his love, Is Negan ever going to be forgiven, what about Eugene, Jadis, and the rest of them? As I sit in this house hiding from the virus that very well could kill me, I think of our gang hiding from the Zombies that will certainly kill them if they get a chance. For awhile I am thinking about them and cheering them on, and two quickly I am returned to my own reality. As I said, “you can’t make this up”, as they say. However, the writers can. To all the wonderful people who make The Walking Dead something worth watching, please don’t quit. Don’t quit on us.
