The Cookiegorgon Learns the Importance of Sharing in This Adorable Sesame Street Parody of ‘Stranger Things’

Sesame Street has a history of creating some hilarious pop-culture parodies and we’re glad to see that they’re at it again!

In the past, the children’s series has parodied the zombie apocalypse world of The Walking Dead and even the inner workings of prison life by taking on Orange is the New Black.  This time, things are getting turned upside down as the Sesame Street gang tackles the world of Stranger Things.

The parody is cleverly called Sharing Things and features Cookie Monster as the Cookiegorgon in the Snackside Down.  The Cookiegorgon is pretty much what you’d expect him to be – a monster who is on the hunt for cookies, candies and basically any kind of sweet treats on Halloween!  Along the way, he learns the value of sharing!

Rounding out the rest of the cast you have Ernie as Dustin, Grover as Lucas, a bunny playing Sherrif Hopper and more.  There is a brief special appearance by Barb and a featured role by the number 11 playing, well, Eleven with her new Stranger Things season 2 hairstyle and all!

We really hope Sesame Street keeps up these hilarious and adorable parodies.  Sharing Things just might be one of our favorites yet!  Check out the adorable video below:
