“Happy Days” Cast Remembers Erin Moran

This weekend, Hollywood lost another child star whose rise to fame was found in a beloved 70s sitcom. Erin Moran, Joanie Cunningham on the hit show Happy Days, passed away at the age of 56. After an autopsy, it has since been confirmed that Moran's cause of death was complications due to cancer. ‘Happy Days’ Creator and ‘Pretty Woman’ Director Garry Marshall Dies at 81

Legendary writer and director Garry Marshall died Tuesday of complications from pneumonia after having a stroke.  His death was confirmed by his publicist.  He was 81 years old. Marshall began his entertainment career in the 1960s by selling jokes to comedians before moving to writing sketches for The Tonight Show.  He went on to create/write several hit comedy sitcoms including The Lucy Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Odd Couple, Laverne & Shirley, Happy Days and Mork and Mindy.
