Ryan Reynolds Honored As Man of the Year By The Hasty Pudding Theatricals

Deadpool may not have received an Oscar nomination but Ryan Reynolds received an even higher honor: the title of 2017’s Man of The Year bestowed upon him by The Hasty Pudding Theatricals! Its past recipients include, among others, Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Robert DeNiro, Harrison Ford, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt, and most recently Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Of course in typical Ryan fashion, he took a shot at Green Lantern by saying that a prop from the film they made him dig out of the trash and destroy “was actually worth more than all the revenue of it,” and even donned a Deadpool bra! Yes, you read that right.

After the ceremony, Ryan took to Instagram to thank Hasty Pudding for the “roasting,” with the Deadpool bra front and center, of course –
