It’s just over a month to go and we finally are able to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie! With that, they started to do the promotion to hype it up even more (like if we weren’t excited for this movie already). EW, had the honor to see the new character pictures that Disney has released. Take a look below in the gallery to see the pictures (click to enlarge):
Don’t they look awesome? They have this exciting vibe to it and we sure are going to be seeing some amazing things.
We see that Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) got his own picture, in the only way that Jack Sparrow is known to stand.
We also see Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in the poster who will be returning for this storyline. But, that is not all! We’re seeing some new people we haven’t seen yet. Like, Javier Bardem, Brenton Thwaites and Kaya Scodelario.
Here is the synopsis of the movie, in case you haven’t seen it yet:
Jack is back! On this fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Jack’s luck has run out. It seems that Captain Salazar (Bardem) has released the most deadly ghost pirates of the sea from the devil’s Triangle. Captain Salazar is the oldest villain of Jack Sparrow. The ghost pirates hunt on every single pirate on the sea, including Jack Sparrow. The only hope to survive this adventure is to collect the legendary Trident of Poseidon. This weapon is the most powerfull weapon and the owner gets control of all seas. Is Jack going to collect this powerfull weapon and can he insure he is not going to get killed by Captain Salazar and his pirate ghosts? In the summer of 2017 we will find out!
Script by Terry Rossio & Ted Elliot.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales hits the theaters on May 26. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments below!
