‘Luke Cage’: Misty Knight is Finally Getting her Bionic Arm

The first moment we saw that Misty Knight (Simone Missick) got hurt in Luke Cage season 1, we immediately thought this; she’s getting her bionic arm! Luckily for Misty Knight, her arm got saved by Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson). It meant the people behind the series had another plan for this part of the story.

– Minor spoiler if you haven’t seen The Defenders yet. We warned you! –

Let’s be honest, the moment that it happened in The Defenders, we did not see it coming. We were shocked it happened so suddenly. The thought we had in season 1 of Luke Cage popped right back into our minds. Now there is no reason left not to give her the well-known arm.

EW had the honors and gave the first look at Misty Knight’s arm. As we can see above, Misty Knight doesn’t let losing her arm stop her and is walking right next to Luke (Mike Colter). Seeing that she’s holding a gun in her bionic hand, she is ready for action.

We have no details yet of how she got the arm; we only know she was in the hospital that Danny Rand (Finn Jones) owned. We are hoping that they’ll stay close to the comics and she’ll retrieve the arm from no one other than Tony Stark. But then again that is the comic world.

Will this arm also mean she’ll get the other abilities from in the comics? It’s obvious she’ll have superhuman strength in that arm, but will she also be able to control robots? What about the energy blasts?

What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

Marvel’s Luke Cage will return on Netflix in 2018.

Credits to Netflix and Marvel for the images.
