‘Legends of Tomorrow’: A Former Teammate Will be Gunning for the Legends

Legends of Tomorrow: A Former Teammate Will be Gunning for the Legends

We are so close to the start of the new season of Legends of Tomorrow, which means more news is starting to trickle out about what is in store. This week, it was revealed that a former Legend will be making their return to try and kill the team.

There are a lot of options for who might be the one to come back, and since Season 3 ended with the Legends releasing a whole bunch of mythical creatures and demons onto the world, there are endless possibilities as to how that person might appear. The most obvious choice would be Maisie Richardson-Sellers, who played Amaya Jiwe for two seasons and will be coming back as a new character named Charlie. Since it is hinted that this former teammate will return in an “unexpected way” and we already know Richardson-Sellers is coming back, it’s unlikely she is the one being hinted at.

The Legends have had quite the roster change over the years, but in terms of former teammates returning, there are three who would be the most likely candidates. The first is Rip Hunter, who sacrificed himself to save the team in the Season 3 finale. Despite forming the team, Rip has had quite the rocky relationship with them. The other option, and perhaps the most exciting prospects, would be the return of the Hawks. Season 1 revolved around Kendra and Carter and their eternal battle against the immortal Vandal Savage, ending with them departing the team. If there’s anyone who might return due to the Legends releasing mythical beings, it would be the Hawks.

Season 4 of Legends of Tomorrow kicks off Monday, October 22, on The CW.
