‘Heathers’ Getting TV Reboot

The 1989 cult classic Heathers may be getting a reboot!
The Hollywood Reporter reported today that TV Land ordered a script for a possible reboot.
This time, their take is said to be a present day black comedy featuring the heathers, who have become popular in high school. Heather McNamara (originally played by Lisanne Falk) is now a lesbian; Heather Duke (Shannen Doherty) is a transgender woman whose real name is Heath; and Heather Chandler (Kim Walker) is similar to the character Martha Dumptruck.
heathers has been rebooted for the small screen twice before this-one was the 2012 film The Ashleys.
